The logo I crafted for NextStep Sports and Speed Agility is an elegant representation of the brand's mission - to help young athletes take their training to the next level. By utilizing the brand's initials and depicting two steps coming together, the logo symbolizes the importance of breaking down movements into their fundamental elements to establish healthy practices and gain a competitive edge. The logo was designed with movement in mind, capturing the energy and dynamism of Dr. Anna Stinson's approach to sports training. I chose a slab serif font that evokes the nostalgia of varsity athletics and selected colors inspired by various athletic fields, such as soccer, tennis, baseball, and track, that would appeal to young athletes. Throughout the brand, I incorporated athletic field markers and game diagraming vernacular, to add depth, dimension, and texture to the otherwise flat planes of color.

To get Dr. Stinson started, together we decided to create a simple, yet comprehensive flyer to advertise services and class offerings to students. The aim was to include as much information as possible about class pricing, scheduling, and services, without the visual being too overwhelming.

With a great design in place, the foundation is laid for further branding efforts. The future goal is to create branded elements that raise enthusiasm and promote the business on and off the field: from team jerseys to water bottles, to a website that facilitates simple scheduling and payment.
