USAOPOLY, a nationally renowned game publisher, approached me to devise innovative marketing strategies for a selection of their most popular games, namely Telestrations. We explored the possibility of leveraging a partnership with a leading app for finding campsites to unveil Telestrations: Van Life Edition. With a vast user base of over 70,000 active members and targeting the 93.8 million households who frequently embark on camping trips, we crafted a unique repackaging and marketing campaign.

I conceptualized a design that seamlessly blends vintage tea tin aesthetics with topographic map motifs, creating a compact and durable format that is perfect for on-the-go gaming adventures. My goal was to host events and gatherings at campsites across the United States, where families could gather around campfires and play Telestrations. I aimed to promote the game as a fun and social activity that brings people together outdoors, and to capture these moments on social media platforms to inspire others to do the same.
Packaging design
To further elevate the experience, Telestrations: Van Life Edition would customize their included drawing booklets to be inspired by passports. The pop-up marketing events would feature limited-edition collectible stickers of famous national parks that families could collect, and personalize their drawing pads and tins with souvenirs from their travels. I also began exploring partnerships with local food and beverage brands to provide refreshments at the popup events, making it an all-around enjoyable experience for new and existing customers.
